This is beautiful, and absolutely hilarious. I love it! Though it's highly stylized, there's a wonderful realism to things like the wet fur and those little soap bubbles. The unsaturated color scheme really sets the mood well. And those eyes!
Those faces.... the eyes! They're so cute it's almost painful to stare for long. I love how in the white cat's eyes, you can almost see the reflections and silhouettes of two people, perhaps the ones who are bathing these adorable cats. Tremendously fantastic work here, my friend
This has such a unique, beautiful and eye-catching style, the moment I saw it I couldn't stop looking at it as it continued to draw me in. The colors and strokes, as well as the concept and atmosphere are magnificent, in all the thousands of art I've seen I can honestly say I've never seen anything quite like this. The feel it gives off is truly one of a kind.
I think what really draws me in the most, though, is that artistic, almost vintage like style. I've watched a small handful of movies before that gave off a very similar feel, in which I greatly enjoyed the olden day-feel. I do wish I knew exactly how to describe it, or better yet know what it may very well be called as this has always been a feeling in particular I connected to and favored.
But to bring this unusually long comment to an end, I can't even begin to describe how great this piece makes me feel. It brings a smile to my face, yet somehow makes me feel very sad in a way. Both of the combination of the very aforementioned atmosphere in which this piece holds, to the concept of these poor cats with looks of discomfort, despair and fright while one stands over them in protection with pleading big eyes; Showered with what I imagine is rather cold water in a small tub.
In other words, excellent piece. Keep up the good work, and I'll be sure to keep a watch out of your gallery as you have now peeked my interest as to what other masterpieces you may have in store for the public eyes.
