A picture of splendidly re-visited Vermeer.
The figures call out to us by their surrealist appearance. First this extraterrestrial exoskeleton of the painter with the head brombone and the wheels of the model. But especially this paradox of the painter with a superb behind and of the model throwing a primal scream worthy of Tarzan.
Très belle Allegory dont j'aime la luminosité digne de Vermeer ainsi que la riche texture des draperies. J'admire l'utilisation des tiers dans la composition et la sublime harmonie de ces couleurs de noir, de rouge orangé avec la couleur or dominante.
Les figures nous interpellent dans leur apparence surréaliste. D'abord cet exosquelette extraterrestre du peintre avec la tête trombone et les roues du modèle.Mais plus spécialement le paradoxe de ce peintre avec un magnifique postérieur et de ce modèle lançant un cri primal digne de Tarzan.
Un tableau de Vermeer superbement revisité.
