Cirque du Soleil by borda Cirque du Soleil by borda
oil/canvas 100x90 cm
This is an interpretation after Rubens drawing [link] after Leonardo's "Battle of Anghiari" so you see here a bad foto of copy of a copy of a great idea :))

the allegory of life, Yin and Yang, in a few words can see below, the sun in battle with the night, the moon sustaining the wheel of the instinctual, demonic energy symbolised bt the centaur like arlequin, with his opposide the angel like one from the inorog, bla bla, just an eye opener, see your self :P

really good, movement is really good, is not so simple to draw anatomy in this way, very compliment! This work remember me Laooconte  for movement or "Centauromachia" by Raffaello Sanzio .. my examples relate to the sculptures, you've drawn, I know :) compliment for this painting .

love this - the colours and circus patterns/details add to the melee - there's so much detail, it's great!

Love the impossible, but convincing ingredient. Makes you search as a viewer...I detect a lot of frustration and anger-blowout in this!
