oil on canvas, 100x80cm, almost finished, it took me an entire summer to finish it, my brain simply don't wanna process ornamental stuff like this it's like a fractal psychedelic image of a peacock eye, don't know if it can be seen clear enough, even the rain drops and the rainbow are like a feather
great work love the detail. the balance with in your composition works well. with surrealism its a difficult thing to really critique. as it more of the verier likes it or they don't. any out line i mite apply would be a mater of taste. and would depend on how realistic cretin elements were meant to be. i would have to talk with you about your concept to get a handel on whether you acheaved your gole or not. my only observation and again this is a taste factor, i feel theres an inbalince with in the skin tones of the woman. here face and torso are of two vary different tonal values. the face containing a higher level of green. to my mind this is distracting rather then causing a focal element to form. all make one last observation in the form of a question if they are standing in the rain would there skin not look wet? perhaps it dose and i can not see it Computer are hard to really see details and depth over all its a very interesting work with a lot of visoul appeal. but instead of praising it further (wich, undoubtedly, i could!) i would like to note, that, compaired with all the other dedails like stockings, her face and hat, his face looks a little crude. even if it is wanted to be rough, edgy and manly, it has a little too much of these attributes. it simply looks like his face stayed one level beneath all the other parts with detailed light, texture and so much 3 dimensionality.
