my new painting in progress, oil on canvas, I post it specially waiting for any suggestion.
I still need to work a lot on it, I don't really like the hands position and don't know if dressing may needed to be deleted..what do you think?
the final stuff is here [link]

I really like this borda. You are a fantastic artist. I know you will listen my advice and realize it is not criticism. So here goes.

She is Beautiful I love the enigma in her expression. The crimson and deep blue and chromatic blending is very moving and lush. I love how she softly glows forward and becomes entangled in him.

I don't see a problem with the hands. They need a little fleshing out but no biggy. I think the reason you are focusing on the hands is the balance or composition. I understand that she is stiff for a reason but I think you need to push her pelvis a little forward a little, continuing the curve of her spine. Bend her slightly at the knees giving the hips a little bit of an angle. ( is it a pensive limpness?)

If he was picking her up her her thighs would not be straight. Maybe just push the front thigh back at the joint and put a little curve in the lower tummy? Under his arm should she have a little more rib/ less waist. Take a print of this and trace it out. I just think she looks a little cut in half. She needs a spine.

One of my best drawing from life teachers used to say that some time we become zoomed in on a certain thing and loose perspective of the whole. :peace:

Very beautiful, I can't wait to see it finished! As for the hand position, maybe you could leave her arm as is but with the hand bending at the wrist onto the top of his head.

Very promising work, I'm loving the color contrasts and decorative details you're adding, brings to mind Klimt, of course, but the style is all yours.

Wish it would rain here more often

the bodies and the background, the concept is good! i really like it! i know it's a WIP so i won't go into detail but what i find bothering, her face
she doesn't have any expression, she looks like a doll head, the bodies are longing hot and fragile but her expression is blank.

try to give her facial expression more depth and charisma then just try to make her look like a narrow version of Angelina jolie.

His elbow and hand don't look correct , but they look good. It could fuse and morph into her. Some sort of dressing could be needed to balance the ornaments of her hair, and in that sort of deatil.

So far it looks amazing, especially the anatomy and the light. And the water falling down her abdomen is beautiful and gives the image a mistical atmosphere (it reminds me the wax looking tears on the face of some statue of the virgin)

I thought you had repainted on "my summer wine". It's very dynamic with the man and her ahir pulling her back.
