The image is very expressive and produces an instant effect upon the viewer. I find the eyes and the shape of the "tiger" especially well realized. With the little bit bent body, the image reflects exactly the attitude I imagine a "tiger" would have if left outside in the rain.
The raindrops in the foreground add a welcome focus plane to the image, allowing for a focus shift from the main subject to the front, and thus giving dynamism to the image. However, even though the background is unfocused, and the subject is, I still don't have a feeling of depth when looking at this painting. But that's unimportant.
The picture has a balanced chromatic and a nice contrast which suits well the rainy mood.
As a whole, I find the painting very expressive and drawn in a nice style. I look forward to your next deviations
I think what I love most is the earnest, innocent, and 100 percent trusting look in the eyes I don't know if that's what you were going for, but it really caught my attention ^^
